Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is part of Turns’ Terms of Service and covers the treatment of user information, including personally identifying information, obtained by Turns, including information obtained when you access the Turns Site, use the Turns Service or any other software provided by Turns.

Turns may obtain the following types of information from or concerning you or your mobile device, which may include information that can be used to identify you as specified below:

User Provided Information

You provide certain Personally Identifiable Information, such as your name, phone number and mobile device information to Turns when choosing to participate in various uses of the Turns app.

Contacts Integration

Turns does not collect names, numbers or other contact information from its users’ mobile contact lists other than the phone numbers of the participants. Turns will associate whatever name the user has assigned to the mobile telephone number in his/her mobile contact list. This occurs dynamically and locally on the user’s mobile device itself and not on Turns’ servers and is not transmitted to Turns. This means that the same names the user has on his contact list will be available to him/her in Turns. Turns will not send any form of communication to any of user’s contacts without his/her consent.

Interaction in Turns

Any payments and related data added by users via the Turns mobile app is stored on the Turns servers and shared with the other party/parties involved in that payment, provided they are Turns users as well. No other Turns user can see any information regarding payments they are not a part of.

Log Data

Turns records certain requests and transactions in log files. This log data is used for troubleshooting, statistics, quality assurance, to monitor system security and can be analyzed to that end. Turns can publish anonymous statistics under the condition that no personally identifiable information can be derived from such statistics.
Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring web page, location, your mobile carrier, device and application IDs, search terms, and cookie information. We receive Log Data when you interact with our services, for example, when you visit our website, or use our mobile application.
Turns also uses Analytics tools to compile usage statistics. These services are provided by Google, Inc. Their privacy policies can be found at
